Ever Wanted to Know What AE is like on the inside?

I've always been curious to see what AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS was like on the inside? I have. They are very stringent on making sure that no customers take pictures in their store. Unfortunately this isn't the case for employees. After scoping around Facebook - I found several groups concerning American Eagle Employees. And boy! Some of these pictures pretty much map out what the store is like in the front and back. I was even more suprised to see store managers as willing participants in the photo show! How poor is their security... see for yourself....

This girl is listed as a manager in the facebook group... doesn't look like there's much 'managing' going on. but it gives you a clear shot of the front of the store. kinda makes you wonder whose looking after the place if she isn't?














how many times do you think that the high priced clothes you pay for are walked on? i hope this isn't any indication.

This person is also listed as a manager in the group... and this looks like this is in the stockroom or something? i wonder whats in that cupboard behind her... or what that electronic black box above it is? is that the store security system? Stereo? who knows! somebody out there might be able to tell me.













Another manager in the store... having her picture taken? how come customers can't have their pictures taken in the store? but employees are allowed?















I hope that this person doesn't fall down off that shelf he is climbing... maybe if the managers weren't busy whoring it up for the camera, they'd catch this before he kills himself!










Some employees doing a lude act... in what looks to be a stock room... look! i think you can even see the back exit!











I guess that is a back door exit! look! it says EXIT above that door... i think this manager is even pointing towards the exit! lol. I guess she's showing shoplifters the getaway route!















I guess it is a job requirement to be able to climb shelves... or a sure shot way of getting on Workmans Compensation so you dont have to work anymore!

It's rather disturbing that a company of the size and 'scope' of AEO spends their time like this... or even promotes this kinda of play at work... its even scarrier that their head office seems to promote this (from what i've been able to find just laying around on the internet). It's not much wonder American Eagle clothes are such 'targets' for shoplifters... its probably because the company makes it so easy to steal by posting virtual maps of the stores online, who the managers are, and their lack of regulations and supervision in the workplace.
